1. How long can an automatic feeder feed my fish?
Most hold enough food for 1 to 4 weeks, depending on how often they feed and the size of the drum. Check the drum capacity against your fish's daily portion before you go away.
3. How do I stop the food going damp?
Mount the feeder away from the water surface and condensation, keep the lid closed, and choose a model with a ventilation fan if your tank runs warm.
5. Can an automatic feeder overfeed my fish?
It can if the portion is set too high. Start small, because slightly hungry fish are safer than uneaten food fouling the water while you're away.
2. Can I use flakes and pellets?
Yes. Most feeders take flakes, pellets and granules. Pellets and granules flow more reliably than large flakes, and some feeders have a fan to keep food dry.
4. Should I test an automatic feeder before going away?
Yes. Set it up a week or two before you leave and watch a few feeds, so you can adjust the portion and check it turns reliably.
6. Do I need an automatic feeder for a short trip?
Healthy adult fish can usually manage a few days without food. For longer breaks, or for fry and small fish that need frequent meals, a feeder is the safer choice.

Why are some points pending?

Purchase points have an approval period before they become available. Your balance shows available points separately from pending points.

How long do my points last?

When points expiry applies, your balance stays valid for 365 days from qualifying rewards activity. Earning eligible rewards, redeeming points or a balance adjustment renews that window. Simply visiting the shop does not renew it.

Can I use points with my stamp reward?

Yes. Add your 10% stamp reward code at checkout and switch on your points. Your final saving depends on the eligible product total and any other discount restrictions.

What happens if I return something?

Earned points are adjusted for returns. Points used on refunded products are restored proportionally. If a refund takes a qualifying order below £250, its stamp is removed.
