Hard to tell the colour, and inaccurate when compared to results from the API Freshwater Master Kit. Really only useful to give a ballpark idea and warning of raised ammonia levels in between weekly water tests, but not a replacement for a full test kit.

Didn't realise that the ph alert only works in freshwater, but used it in my freshwater tank. The ammonia alert doesn't seem to correlate to other tests I'm running, returning 0 ammonia when my other triton tests are showing levels of total and free ammonia
