Serinus Calcium Grit is a complementary food for birds of the finches family. It is indicated to facilitate the correction of calcium deficiencies typical of seed mixtures and the increase in calcium demand that occurs during laying and in growth stages. Birds are perfectly capable of regulating the intake of calcium-rich foods according to their needs. The calcium grit should be made freely available to birds in a separate container. The availability of calcium grit allows the voluntary ingestion of the amount of calcium that birds require at any given time.
