Its fresh green colour compliments wood, rocks and other plants extraordinary well and has made the plant increasingly popular. The growth of Elatine hydropiper is quite similar to Hemianthus callitrichoides 'Cuba' and Glossostigma elatinoides but is considerably slower, making it easier to maintain.

- Carefully take the plant out of the cup and rinse off the growing media under the tap.Â
- Split the plant in 6-8 portions using your fingers or sharp scissors (for small foreground plants).Â
- Plant portions into the substrate using tweezers. Then watch them grow!
