Frotec RO-2012-150 is a 12" x 2" Domestic Reverse Osmosis Membrane that will provide 150 US Gallons per day, 23.7 Litres per hour (0.57cubic meters) per day at optimum output. It is an Ultra Low Pressure Domestic Reverse Osmosis Membrane that can be used in most types of RO filters.
The Frotec membrane has a 50Psi output, which is the same pressure as most homes. This means you can expect to achieve a much higher RO water output than most other membranes that need a pressure of 60-70Psi, making them less suitable to the average home.
Other Reverse Osmosis membranes are difficult to remove from their housing, with pliers or grips need to be struggled with to break the seal. The Frotec membrane has a hexagonal thread on the end, so you simply insert an Allen key, turn, and remove the membrane. On top of this, the American Membrane technology means a 20% increased water output at lower water pressures.

- Elements contain preservative solution, therefore the permeate from the first hour of operation should be discarded, to flush the protective solution in the elements.
- Keep elements moist at all times after initial wetting

- Permeate flow and salt rejection based on the following test conditions:
- 250ppm softened tap water, 77 F(25 C),
- PH=8, and 15% recovery and the specified pressure at 50psi.
- Permeate flow rates for individual elements many vary +/-20%.
