Interzoo 2026: The Biggest Innovations in Aquatics

Held in Nuremberg, Germany, Interzoo is the world’s largest international trade fair for pet supplies and aquatic innovation, bringing together leading brands, manufacturers, and industry professionals from around the world. Here’s a quick look at some of the latest and most exciting aquatic innovations showcased at this year’s event.

Red Sea was one of the standout brands at Interzoo 2026, not only celebrating their recent acquisition of the D-D and Prodibio brands, but also unveiling the impressive new Reef Frame aquarium, alongside the all new ReefSense Smart Ecosystem.
New Red Sea Reef-Frame and Reef-Control
The Reef Frame aquariums combine modern design with fresh new colour option, alongside all the trusted MAX-compatible equipment features you’d expect, and of course, Red Sea’s 5-year warranty. Designed for performance, aesthetics, and long-term reliability, they offer reefkeepers a premium all-in-one platform built to last.

Red Sea also showcased what many fans have been waiting for for some time: a new ReefTherm heater that will be controlled via the ReefControl platform.

There was also Reef Care refills, new Multi X pest treatment and the relaunch of their newly acquired Prodibio range of treatments and conditioners (available VERY soon).
Aquaforest - Nano Tank and more...
Aquaforest introduced their brand new Nano aquarium kit at the show. Aimed at hobbyists looking for both a compact and complete reefing solution, it uses a range of existing Aquaforest products, including rock, sand, bacteria & salt.

Alongside the Nano tank, Aquaforest continued to highlight its growing range of reef supplements, filtration media, and coral nutrition products.

Tunze - Spinning the good ideas!

Tunze focused heavily on innovation at this year’s event, showcasing new circulation, filtration & some concept aquascaping developments, all designed to improve efficiency and reliability.

The 360 rotating aquascaping plinth allows a fully rotating scape, suitable for both marine and freshwater use. This isn't something we had seen before and we will be featuring more on this soon (check out our socials)!

Other products being showcased were their new Orca oscillating pump holder, suitable for use with most of the existing turbelle pump range and their brand new, app-driven dosing pump, which utilises a clip-in tube system instead of the traditional tube connections, offering far more flexible options in terms of tube size and dosing amounts.

Known for German engineering and long-term durability, Tunze demonstrated how its latest equipment continues to evolve to meet the demands of modern aquariums while maintaining the trusted performance the brand is famous for.
