Phosphate Minus is an efficient filtration medium designed for fluidized bed filters, expertly formulated to reduce phosphate and silicate levels in both marine and freshwater aquariums. Excessive food and supplements can elevate phosphate concentrations, potentially disrupting aquarium balance. Utilizing unique adsorption technology, this product effectively binds large amounts of phosphate without negatively impacting aquarium inhabitants, ensuring a healthier aquatic environment.

Reduce phosphate and silicate levels in your aquarium

Highly recommended for both newly established and mature aquariums, Phosphate Minus prevents the onset of elevated phosphate levels in fresh setups and reduces phosphate (PO4) levels to stabilize water chemistry in established tanks. By maintaining biological balance, it helps prevent the growth of undesirable green algae and cyanobacteria, promoting clear and healthy water conditions.

Optimize water conditions with effective filtration

Dosage: Use 25-100 ml per 100 liters (27 US gal) of water in marine aquariums, or 100 ml per 100 liters in marine setups and 200 ml per 100 liters in freshwater aquariums when placed in flow filters. Phosphate Minus is best utilized in media reactors with a recommended water flow of at least 400 liters per hour, and it is also suitable for passive use in filter socks. Replace the media every 4 weeks or sooner if phosphate levels rise significantly.

Upon initial use, Phosphate Minus may cause a slight brown coloration of the water due to harmless dust particles, which will dissipate quickly. Avoid rinsing the product with RODI water before use, as this can reduce its effectiveness. This product supports the long-term stability and clarity of aquarium water by efficiently managing phosphate and silicate concentrations.
