Usage Instructions

For optimal results, add AquaMaker to the tap water before performing water changes. Use the dosage appropriate for the volume of new tap water to immediately neutralize aggressive substances. It can also be added directly to the aquarium based on the total water volume.

Dosage Guidelines

The standard dosage is 10 ml per 50 liters (1 US fl oz per 40 US gallons) of aquarium water. Shake well before use; note that the product may emit a sulfur odor.

Example – dosing tap water for water change: When preparing five buckets of 10 liters each, dose 2 ml of AquaMaker per bucket and mix before adding to the aquarium.

Example – dosing directly to aquarium: For a 100-liter aquarium with a 20-liter water change, dose 20 ml of AquaMaker based on the total volume.

Adjust dosage based on water conditions:

  • Use half the standard dose for low chlorine, chloramine, or ammonia levels.
  • Double the dose for higher concentrations of these substances.
  • In emergencies with very high nitrite (≥3 mg/L) or ammonia (≥1 mg/L), use triple the standard dose.
  • Reduce dosage by up to half when water temperature reaches 30 ºC (86 ºF).
