The high-tech external canister filter generation full of innovative technology for aquarium sizes up to 250 ltr. With these models EHEIM started the first external canister filter series with a square basic shape. Meanwhile this filter has proven itself thousands of times and is a proven product in the EHEIM external canister filter series. Its high quality accessories are convincing.
The supplied hose adapter is equipped with 2 shut-off valves which can be adjusted separately. The flow rate is set by means of these valves. The adapter is released and safely locked by means of a large lever. The hose and filter can be connected safely and easily.

I have only had this filter a short time but it appears to be excellent. I'm running it as a second filter. It was easy to set up and runs extremely quietly which was important for me. I would recommend.

This is a really excellent filter. Very quiet and efficient and would have easily earned 5 stars if Eheim had only included the installation set 2 outflow tubes as standard. It would probably bump the price up a bit but the supplied plastic outflow pipe is very basic, to say the least.
Very easy to set up and prime, just remember to have the flow set to ON or your lungs will implode!
