A great starter heater for...

Fluval M Premium Heater 50w

A great starter heater for 52L tank. Easy to control and fast heating. One drawback, if you plan to use with Fluval EVO 13.5 in chamber 3, it is too long to fit within this chamber alongside circulation pump. You need to get either a short heater or a compact circulation pump. Either way would work.

The heater (Fluval ref A781)...

Fluval M Premium Heater 50w

The heater (Fluval ref A781) works well enough but I found it hard to comprehend that this heater is recommended in the set up instructions for the Fluval Evo 52L tank when it does not fit in to the chamber where it's designed to go. I spent an hour trying to figure out why this wouldn't fit when it was recommended by Fluval. An online search revealed that this problem has been encountered by numerous aquarists. I eventually managed to jam the heater down into the compartment but it's now only safe to use when the filter compartment it's at its maximum water level. It's no fault of Charterhouse but perhaps Fluval need to sort this out.

Struggled getting live mysis from my normal supplier - a few click later and less than 24hrs later..... 7 bags of live mysis for my seahorses! Efficient, competitively priced and the slickest ordering to "boot" - to be honest I'm considering swapping over full time if my regular supplier lets me down again. Excellent company with super fast delivery on my new aquarium! Delivery driver very helpful also helping me get it into the house! I chose not to add middle door on the cabinet and add baskets this is not how the juwel Rio comes as standard & also I changed the bulb!
