The successor of the popular Herp Nursery incubator also uses the peltier technology which enables the device to cool and to heat its interior. This allows its use as incubator for reptile eggs but also for hibernating reptiles. The temperature area is approximately 5 to 60C but is dependant from the surrounding temperature. The digital thermostat allows setting the temperature in 1C steps. Please note that the displayed temperature can vary a little from the actual temperature inside the device. We recommend checking with a separate thermometer. The Herp Nursery II does not only have a larger usable space (25L instead of 14L) than its predecessor, it also has a transparent door and interior lighting. The greatest innovation is that the device now can switch automatically between cooling and heating mode. This means that it will also cool to keep the desired temperature which can be very useful in summer when the higher outdoor temperature will also cause the temperatures inside incubators to rise. The Herp Nursery II prevents the loss of eggs from overheating as it will automatically cool to keep the set temperature. Please note that due to the used technology the device has a certain temperature deviation. It is not a professional incubator which will keep the set temperature by the 0,1C but an entry model for less delicate eggs. Interior Dimensions: ca. 27x22x37 cm (WxDxH). Outer Dimensions: ca. 33x30x45 cm
