Ideal for both coldwater and tropical tanks, this treatment effectively combats bacterial, fungal, and certain external protozoan parasites affecting fish, fry, and eggs. Protect your aquatic life with reliable care..
Use this treatment when fish, fry, or eggs display fungal infections like cotton wool-like growths, a grey velvety film, or excess mucus. It also helps heal red wounds, ulcers, missing scales, rotting fins, and damaged mouth tissue. Effective against bacterial, fungal, and some external protozoan parasites, Methylene Blue is safe for eggs and fry. Ideal for quarantine tanks or treatment baths, it can also be added to aquarium water, used during fish transport, or applied directly to wounds for fast relief.
Caution: Overdosing may harm live plants and shrimp, and this treatment can disrupt beneficial bacteria in your biofilter. It may also stain skin, aquarium decorations, and silicone. Keep filtration running during treatment but remove carbon. After treatment, perform a 25% water change, add NT Labs Filter Starter, and replace carbon in the filter. For direct wound care, apply undiluted Methylene Blue with a cotton bud. This product is not intended for human consumption. Protect your aquarium while effectively treating your fish.
To use, first measure your aquarium’s volume in litres (length × width × depth in cm ÷ 1000) or visit www.nt-labs.com/dosage-calculator for an easy calculation. Shake the bottle well before use. Dilute the required dose in 1 litre of aquarium water and add it slowly to your tank. For dip treatments, follow the label’s dosage instructions. You can repeat the treatment after 4 days if needed. Before a second dose, confirm your diagnosis, test water quality with NT Labs Test Kits, and perform a 30% partial water change to ensure the best results.
