The ScaperLine Soil in the 3-litre pack is the right basis for a planted aquascape – the active substrate ensures a beautiful appearance and is the best prerequisite for the best plant growth. It softens the water and creates a slightly acidic pH range that is favourable for the vast majority of aquarium plants. Active Soil can also absorb nutrients from the water and release them again as required – the buffering effect is ideal for sustained good plant growth. The 2-4 mm grain size of ScaperLine Soil is perfect for small, medium-sized and larger scapes and provides good support for plant roots. The brown colour gives the substrate a very natural look. The soil can be used immediately, no more washing out is necessary. Soil grains are baked at low temperatures and are therefore pleasantly stable, but not too firm and hard.
