The Siamese Algae Eater Loach, with its streamlined body and vibrant coloration, is a splendid addition to freshwater aquariums. Its distinctive appearance and active behavior make it a delightful species to observe.
Origin: Originating from Southeast Asia, these loaches are commonly found in rivers and streams, where they play a crucial role in maintaining ecological balance by keeping algae growth in check.
Feeding: A true ally in the battle against algae, the Siamese Algae Eater Loach thrives on a balanced diet of high-quality flake food, pellets, and live or frozen treats like bloodworms and brine shrimp. Ensuring a varied diet will enhance its overall health and vitality.
Tank Mates: Known for their peaceful nature, these loaches make excellent tank mates for a variety of community fish. They are particularly compatible with other non-aggressive species, such as tetras, rasboras, and peaceful cichlids. Avoid pairing them with overly aggressive or territorial fish to maintain a harmonious aquarium environment.
Aggression: The Siamese Algae Eater Loach is a gentle soul, displaying minimal aggression towards other tank inhabitants. However, providing sufficient hiding spots and ample swimming space will help alleviate any potential territorial behaviors.
Experience Level: Suitable for aquarists of various skill levels, this loach is a great choice for beginners and experienced hobbyists alike. Its hardy nature and adaptability make it a resilient and low-maintenance species.
Water Parameters: To ensure the well-being of your Siamese Algae Eater Loach, maintain a tropical freshwater setup with a pH range of 6.5 to 7.5 and a temperature between 75°F to 79°F (24°C to 26°C). A well-filtered aquarium with moderate water flow replicates their natural habitat.
Welcome the Siamese Algae Eater Loach into your aquatic realm, and witness the magic as it adds both beauty and utility to your underwater oasis!

Nice searchable website, plenty of stock, reasonably priced next day delivery, well packaged. Slightly more detail would have been nice as I bought 32mm thinking that was the external diameter but I suspect most people buying these items would know that. :)
