Brine shrimp nauplii are among the first live foods used in aquaculture, ideal for larval and juvenile fish. They are smaller, more digestible, and contain higher levels of essential fatty acids than adult Artemia, offering a superior nutritional profile during early development.
Typically containing 50–60% protein and 15–20% lipids, nauplii provide readily available energy and nutrients critical for rapid growth and survival. Their constant swimming movement triggers a strong feeding response, supporting natural predatory behaviour in both marine and freshwater fry. For best results, they can be used as a primary starter food before transitioning to adult Artemia or formulated feeds.
Dosage instructions
Gamma live can be placed directly into the aquarium, but we recommend straining off the water before putting in the aquarium. This aids nutrient control.
Use as frequently as required, ensuring full consumption and no wastage.
