An internal weir box can become an unattractive focal point in any aquarium, dictating aquascaping and interrupting flow patterns inside the tank. The D-D 'invisible' weir box has been carefully designed to minimise intrusion into the aquarium and allow a clear view into the aquarium from three sides. 

Incorporated into the weir the twin pipe overflow system allows almost silent running whilst the use of the D-D Ultra Flow weir comb allows the maximum amount of waterflow without raising the water height in the aquarium.

The Aqua-Pro Reef cabinets are manufactured and built for D-D in the U.K to ensure a consistent high quality. With a modern sleek design, the cabinets enhance the look of the aquarium as well as being a complimentary piece of furniture for your room.

Each cabinet is delivered pre-assembled in a choice of six standard finishes and four premium gloss or matt laminate finishes. All come complete with soft close hinges that are fully adjustable and have a quick release mechanism. This allows the doors to be aligned in three directions and easily removed for full access into the cabinet for maintenance. To retain the clean style and contemporary looks the cabinets are fitted with push open mechanisms so no handles are needed.

With larger aquariums comes more weight so the peninsula cabinets are fitted as standard with an integrated metal frame. This is made from aircraft grade aluminium section which is cut and fastened together with special custom stainless steel brackets and high strength rivets.

The AquaFrame system allows you to future-proof your aquarium by enabling you to change the cabinet colours at any time, to match a change in decor, without buying a brand new cabinet.

Peninsula cabinets feature opening doors on one side and faux doors on the opposite to give a balanced duel aspect look. A large opening in the end of the cabinet allows for ventilation and access for pipes, cables, etc to be passed through and the open interior provides as much space as possible for equipment.

he Aqua-Pro Reef Peninsula comes with a ClariSea Ready multi chamber sump with freshwater top up reservoir. When ordering the aquarium there is an optional removeable filter sock holder that can be included, this can easy be taken out and upgraded to a ClariSea unit at any stage even after the aquarium has been set up.

To suit as many different filtration options as possible the Aqua-Pro Reef Peninsula sump has three separate chambers. The two first equipment compartments are large enough to both hold equipment such as skimmers, media reactors, calcium reactors etc or you can use one chamber as a refugium with caulerpa/cheato. A final section is a generous sized return pump compartment which sits beside the integrated water top off reservoir for the easy addition of an ATO unit.

The Aqua-Pro Reef Peninsula comes with ClariSea Ready pipework so that the SK3000 or SK5000 model can be fitted in to the first sump chamber without the need for any modifications.

The ClariSea fleece filter is an ultra compact, patented, high efficiency water filtration system, which continuously removes suspended particles such as micro algae, detritus, food, organic waste and gravel dust from the water column to improve water quality and clarity. The ClariSea design has been continuously developed and improved over 4 years, and is suitable for use in both marine and freshwater aquariums, fish-breeding and coral propagation systems.

The Aqua-Pro Reef Peninsula features a 'dissapearing' weir constructed in black glass, its slim profile and sloping sides help it to blend in with the black background of the aquarium and allows the aquarium to be viewed from three sides without obstruction. Unlike a standard box weir this unique design does not have hard square edges that can be a hinderance when trying to create a seamless aquascape in the aquarium.

As standard the Ultra Flow Weir Comb is included allowing maximum water flow over the weir without excessively raising the water level in the aquarium. The Ultra flow Overflow Weir Comb always maintains a high flow, allowing the use of larger return pumps with a higher flow rate.

The D-D Ultra flow Overflow Weir Comb is designed with a unique arrangement of vertical and horizontal drain slots that allows around 30% to 50% more water to flow through compared to a standard vertical type weir comb, which in normal circumstances, can result in a much higher running level causing excess drain down in the event of a power cut or in the worst case scenario the aquarium overflowing.

For maintenance the weir comb can easily be removed and cleaned.

The return pipe conveniently passes through the front of the weir keeping it neat and securely in position. A 3D printed flow generator and wide outlet nozzle attachment option come with the tank allowing the flow coming from the sump to be directed and tailored to suit your reef.
