Purigen™ is a premium synthetic adsorbent unlike any other filtration product on the market. Crafted from a unique macro-porous synthetic polymer, it effectively removes both soluble and insoluble impurities from water with a rate and capacity exceeding conventional media by over 500%. This advanced filtration media excels at controlling ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates by eliminating nitrogenous organic waste before it can release these harmful compounds, ensuring a healthier aquatic environment.

Designed for use in both marine and freshwater systems, Purigen™ has minimal impact on essential trace elements while significantly raising redox potential. It polishes water to unparalleled clarity, transforming murky tanks into crystal-clear habitats. As the media exhausts, it darkens progressively, providing a clear visual indication that it’s time for regeneration. Renewal is simple—just treat the media with bleach to restore its effectiveness.

For optimal performance, rinse Purigen™ before use and place it in a fine mesh filter bag, which is included with the product. Each liter of Purigen™ treats up to 4,000 liters (1,000 gallons) of water for up to six months, making it a cost-effective solution for maintaining pristine water quality. Exhaustion is easily identified by the beads turning a pronounced dark brown or black, signaling when replacement or regeneration is needed.
