Buy corals online from Charterhouse Aquatics. Our ethically sourced and aquacultured corals are supplied by our partner EcoMarines and rested before they're sold, so they arrive healthy and ready for your reef. Choose from easy soft corals such as mushrooms, leathers and zoanthids, or hard corals including hammers, torches and Acropora. You can pick the exact piece you want from our WYSIWYG corals, and keep them thriving with coral foods.

Have Questions About Corals?

We have answers. Get quick help for common questions.

1. Where do your corals come from?
Our corals are ethically sourced and many are aquacultured, supplied through our partner EcoMarines. Each coral is rested and acclimated before it's sold, so it arrives in the best possible condition.
3. How are corals and invertebrates delivered?
Livestock is packed in insulated boxes and sent by a dedicated livestock delivery service. The delivery cost and available days are shown at checkout.
5. Which corals are best for beginners?
Soft corals such as mushrooms, leathers and zoanthids are the most forgiving. They tolerate a wider range of water conditions and lighting than hard corals, so they're a great way to start a reef.
7. What do I need in my tank before buying corals?
A fully cycled marine aquarium with stable water parameters, suitable reef lighting and good water flow. Soft corals are the most forgiving if you're just starting out.
2. Are the corals pictured the exact ones I'll receive?
Where a listing shows a specific colony or frag, that's the one we send. Where it's a general species listing, you'll receive a similar piece of the same species, and colour can vary with lighting.
4. What should I do when my corals arrive?
Float the bag to match temperature, then acclimate slowly to your tank's water before placing the coral. A coral dip is a good idea for new additions. Keep lights lower for the first few days while the coral settles.
6. Do you sell coral frags as well as colonies?
Yes. Many of our corals are available as frags, which are smaller and more affordable pieces, as well as larger colonies. Frag packs are a good-value way to start a reef with several species.

Good to know

Why are some points pending?

Purchase points have an approval period before they become available. Your balance shows available points separately from pending points.

How long do my points last?

When points expiry applies, your balance stays valid for 365 days from qualifying rewards activity. Earning eligible rewards, redeeming points or a balance adjustment renews that window. Simply visiting the shop does not renew it.

Can I use points with my stamp reward?

Yes. Add your 10% stamp reward code at checkout and switch on your points. Your final saving depends on the eligible product total and any other discount restrictions.

What happens if I return something?

Earned points are adjusted for returns. Points used on refunded products are restored proportionally. If a refund takes a qualifying order below £250, its stamp is removed.
